The Twitter integration will no longer be available on PS4 and PS5 consoles from November 13, 2023. The integration previously allowed users to publish images and videos directly to the social media platform via the console.
Sony announced today that they will discontinue the integration of X on PlayStation consoles on November 13. This means that the ability to post content such as images and videos directly from a PlayStation to X will be discontinued. This announcement was made without any explanation from Sony, but it can be assumed that it is due to the ever-increasing API prices of the platform, which have already cost other apps and services their existence.

"As of November 13, 2023, integration with X (formerly known as Twitter) will no longer function on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles. This includes the ability to view any content published on X on PS5/PS4, and the ability to post and view content, trophies, and other gameplay related activities on X directly from PS5/PS4 (or link an X account to do so)."
However, Sony are not the first to remove Twitter integration. Microsoft removed the function from Xbox consoles and Windows last April and Nintendo removed the login options for Facebook and Twitter on the Switch last year.
